-The railroad expansion caused more jobs and easier and cheaper transportation.

-It was a rapid change compared to the agriculture revolution.

-Many people moved from rural to urban.

-Factory workers were treat unfairly and unkindly.

-They had a lot of population and involved world trade.

-Japan choose to take some of the Western ways, while China did not.

-United States grew from 12 million to 38 million.

-European cities grew because of the jobs, population boom, and food and health approved.

-It was a major growth of cities.

-Some of the problems were overcrowding, poor sanitation and housing.

-Industrial middle class was created by industrial capitalism.


13. What was the difference between the bourgeoisie and the industrial middle class?
-Bourgeoisie were regular people that where not considered poor, while the industrial middle class were people that were above the factory workers and may own some factories.

-Coal mining was considered one of the worst of all trades.
