#1. You may only use your cell phone for emergencies or as a class assignment. If caught using cell phones at incorrect times, the phone will be held until the end of the class period. iPods and music can only be used if you have a 75% of higher.
#2. As a 10th grader, you must study Modern World History. This would mean times between the end of the Roman period all the way to the beginning of the 1990s. Hitting the major points of WWI, WWII and the Vietnam War, and the revolutions along the way. In this class most of it will not rely on memorazation skills but research and your own will to learn and expand your knowledge.
#3. I wish to learn the major points of the World Wars and the Vietnam War, as my dad served in the army during this war. Most of the revolutions are not known to me so that will be very interesting and good to learn!
#4. My favorite year was Early U.S. History, but more specifically the American Civil War. Not only was it the biggest war on American soil, but it had an amazing impact on what we even do today.
#5. I think that people need to know what happened in the past so that they can use it in the future effectively. I personally think it is a good way to "observe" the human nature and how people work.
